* The McNair Scholars Program is strictly for students who are committed to pursuing a Ph.D. degree. Students interested in medical, legal, or other professional degrees should not apply. McNair students who go on to pursue an M.D., a J.D., D.D.S., and other Master’s or professional degrees may be required to repay the McNair award.
